Music Experience with Farm Tour

$20.00 per child

(ages 2-5 but younger/older siblings welcome too)

10:00 to 11:30 (Limit 15 children)

Toddlers and preschoolers are invited to join Miss Kasie on the farm for an exciting music and movement class!  We will sing, dance, play instruments, and read a story about different animals on the farm!  Afterwards meet the fiber animals of Two Dachshund Farm (alpacas, sheep, Angora goats, llamas, Angora rabbits) and their friends.

Bring a picnic blanket, water, snacks, bug spray, and sunscreen. Comfortable closed-toe shoes are recommended, and guests are discouraged from wearing perfume or hairspray that will attract unwanted attention from bugs. Please no pets except for service dogs.

Kasie Brooks received her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education in 2009 from Westminster Choir College of Rider University in Princeton, New Jersey.  She began teaching music classes at neighborhood playgrounds in 2021 during the pandemic.  She wanted to bring the community together safely through song and dance during such a difficult time! Before the start of Music with Miss Kasie, she was the director and founder of multiple community choirs based out of Wake Forest and previously served as the general music teacher and middle school choir director at Franklin Academy. Miss Kasie has two young children that love to sing all day long!  She is so excited to sing, dance and make fun music with you on Two Dachshund Farm!

Two Dachshund Farm is a working fiber agritourism farm.  Our fiber animals are sheared once or twice a year and their fiber is made into products like dryer balls, yarn, handcrafts, and more.  We provide an educational tour to meet and learn about our fiber animals as well as their friends who all have jobs on the farm.  Tours are guided and take between 45 to 60 minutes.
